The Chevrolet Aveo sedan is the year model and badged the Daewoo Gentra and has a completely different and somewhat better looking face. The Aveo boasts a completely new exterior and interior design as well as the 1.6 litre E-tec II engine with VGIS seen here in India on the Optra 1.6. Where the Aveo will take a march on the competition to start off is its exterior styling which is balance, crisp, contemporary and stylish.

It has taken the Honda City style to the next level where the eccentricities are marked. It is longer , wider and taller than its predecessor and features crisp, sculpted lines and a wide, confident stance. The design is said to skilfully create the illusion of a larger car through attributes such as contoured side feature lines that rise from front to rear. Comfort and convenience are given high importance. Striking features, include two-tone scheme, rich Optra type instrumentation, carbon fbre style inserts and perforated leatherette seating.
